Navigator provides services for the commercial brokering of all dry bulk and project cargoes. These services include:
• Assessment of the viability of a trade lane
• Collection and assessment of costs at load and discharge ports
• Recommendation on the relevant shipowners for a desired trade
• Pre-negotiation advice including voyage calculations and assessment of the market
• Negotiations with ship owners including recommendations of relevant terms for charter parties and booking notes
• Post negotiation services incuding continuous dialogue with shipowners and port agents until cargo is discharged
• Closing of files
These services can be provided regardless of the nature of the cargo or where the cargo is to load and discharge.
Drybulk cargoes are homogeneous in nature and include logs, lumber, fertiliser, scrap metal, palm kernel, grains and coal.
Project cargoes which we have shipped recently include barges, drill rigs, port cranes and various mining equipment.
TONNAGE
We are continuously providing tonnage to various shipowners, ship operators and charterers. We are very focused on the small handy – supramax market as well as the multi purpose vessel market. We have the most comprehensive database of handysize vessels and project vessels in New Zealand.
